Iron Sights
The Challenge
The team relied on disconnected exports and spreadsheets for order tracking, returns, and campaign reporting. With all revenue dependent on e-commerce performance, reporting delays made it difficult to identify conversion drop-offs, fulfillment slowdowns, or inefficient ad spend quickly enough to respond.
The Solution
We built a React-based operations platform using Next.js for server-side rendering to optimize performance and initial load speed. The application integrates directly with the Shopify Admin API, payment processor APIs, and third-party fulfillment services. Data pipelines normalize orders, line items, returns, and marketing attribution into a PostgreSQL warehouse. Indexed queries and edge caching support real-time segmentation across product categories, campaigns, and customer cohorts. Interactive dashboards were implemented using a lightweight React charting library to maintain sub-200ms interaction times.
The Results
Iron Sights now operates from a single daily dashboard to monitor revenue velocity, fulfillment throughput, and campaign efficiency. Reporting cycles were reduced from days to minutes, enabling faster optimization decisions and contributing to sustained revenue growth.
